Beacon is a screening tool. It surfaces directional signal from public Transpower data on the electrical and economic characteristics of nodes and corridors. It is not a bankability assessment. It does not investigate land availability, consenting or physical site constraints. Data is sourced from Transpower public files and EMI. Regional boundaries: Stats NZ Regional Council 2025 (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0), grouped by Beacon for screening purposes. Lumere does not warrant accuracy or completeness. Vintage stamps on every view indicate when the underlying data was current.
